Decision making and information processing in complex settings
This two-day workshop brings together leading researchers working on decision-making in interactive and complex environments, with a focus on theoretical, experimental, and methodological approaches. Topics include strategic thinking, belief formation, and advanced experimental methods such as eye-tracking and process tracing.
Keynote speakers:
Carlos Alós-Ferrer (University of Zurich)
Andreas Glöckner (University of Cologne)
Ian Krajbich (The Ohio State University)
Giorgio Coricelli (University of Southern California)
Susann Fiedler (Vienna University of Economics and Business)
The first day will feature keynote lectures, where invited speakers present and discuss their current research. The second day will be dedicated to participant poster presentations and a roundtable discussion led by the keynote speakers.
The workshop is primarily aimed at PhD students, but is open to researchers of all seniority levels. Participation is free of charge; however, participants are expected to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses.
Places are limited. Participants will be selected based on the relevance of their research proposal to the workshop theme. Applicants will be asked to submit an extended abstract of the research they intend to present as a poster.
