The Interdisciplinary Laboratory on Policy Impacts

The Interdisciplinary Laboratory on Policy Impacts is an interdisciplinary structure of the IMT School dedicated to the systematic study of the concrete impacts of public and private policies on key sectors of social, cultural and economic life.

The Laboratory aims to systematise and put to good use the research and training activity gained over the years by the School's researchers in the areas of cultural heritage, health and welfare, economics of territories, education, tourism, administration and digital transformation.

The activities proposed or planned by the Laboratory include the establishment of permanent observatories on thematic areas (museums, healthcare, territorial economies),as well as the proposal of public workshops and seminars and advanced training courses (doctorates, summer schools, paths for professionals). The Laboratory has signed an agreement with the Toscana Life Sciences Foundation to promote interdisciplinary studies and research on the impacts of new technologies in healthcare.
