Initiatives for schools

Throughout the year, in collaboration with the School Office of Lucca and Massa Carrara, the IMT School organises initiatives aimed at local schools, cycles of lectures, workshops and interactive performances.

“Lezioni Disegnate” (“Drawn Lessons”) are a series of lectures aimed at secondary school students, in which IMT School researchers share information about contemporary research themes with the help of drawings and animations. The lectures are based on a series of videos with the same title, created for dissemination purposes.

Workshops on various topics – from neuroscience to artificial intelligence – are also organised cyclically for both elementary school children and schools visiting the IMT campus.
