The IMT School promotes an environment that combines academic excellence and community well-being, valuing inclusion, diversity and equity.
The services guarantee equal opportunities, safeguard safety and well-being, and foster collaboration and mutual support.

  • The Central Guarantee Committee, focused on ensuring the wellbeing of workers, eliminating discrimination and providing equal opportunities in the workplace, was established pursuant to Article 57 of Legislative Decree 165/2001, as amended by Article 21 of Law no. 183/2010 and in accordance with Article 23 of the School Statute.

  • The Prevention and Protection Service (SPP in Italian) of the IMT School, composed of a Manager (RSPP in Italian), Mr. Alessandro Innocenti, and of a Service Supervisor (ASPP in Italian), Dr. Fulvio Marandola, was appointed by the Rector (as Employer).

  • The Confidential Counsellor has been appointed by the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca to provide advice and assistance to those in the academic community (students, researchers, professors) and to technical-administrative staff who have experienced discrimination, harassment and/or mobbing.

  • The IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca, in accordance with the principle of self-determination and to ensure the psychological and physical well-being of its community, introduces the possibility of adopting an alias career.
