Educating Future Citizens: the project’s final meeting took place in Pavia

The results of the national EFC – Educating Future Citizens network were presented in Pavia: a project created to turn the opportunities offered by the PNRR into concrete pathways for growth, advanced education and international openness for younger generations.

In just two years, the network has brought together eight Italian Schools of Advanced Studies in an innovative model of collaboration, fostering dialogue between higher education, research, guidance and global citizenship, while creating new opportunities to support young Italian talent and prepare them for the challenges of the future.

Among the project’s most significant results: more than 60 initiatives delivered, more than 3,000 young people involved, more than 100 international mobility experiences and 24 Italian and international partnerships established. With these numbers, EFC stands out as a strategic best practice for the Italian higher education system and will continue in the coming years as a stable platform for innovation, cooperation and human capital development.
