Donation Study and Training Centre

At the IMT School, a critical mass of research into the phenomenon of donations – in particular blood donations – as a prosocial behaviour has been consolidated in recent years.

The Study and Training Centre on Donation, based at the School, is the first university centre for research and advanced training on the phenomenon of donation, understood as a voluntary and unpaid act, in all its cultural, historical, economic, social and health dimensions.

The Centre finances itself both through public and private contributions, as well as through training and consultancy activities, and promotes partnerships with a wide range of academic bodies and organisations.

The Scientific Committee is currently composed of the following members: Ennio Bilancini, Lorenzo Casini, Gustavo Cevolani, Marialuisa Catoni, Sibilla Di Guida, Ilaria Pavan, Pietro Pietrini, Massimo Riccaboni, Emiliano Ricciardi and Francesco Serti.

Prof. Emiliano Ricciardi acts as President, Prof. Francesco Serti as Director and Prof. Ilaria Pavan as Vice Director.
