The IMT School is hosting the National Training Programme of the European Youth Parliament
From 24 to 27 August 2026, 110 young people from across Europe will gather in Lucca for the European Youth Parliament’s National Training and the Understanding Europe Summer School, both part of the European Youth Parliament network, which organises events to discuss current European issues in order to promote active citizenship and intercultural dialogue.
Following the positive experience of the National Session in March 2025, Lucca is once again set to become a hub for young Europeans. The training, in particular, will enable participants to acquire key transferable skills that are essential both for active involvement in association activities and for their academic, professional and personal development.
The events organised by the various national committees offer all participants the opportunity to broaden their cultural horizons and develop their personal skills, creating opportunities for people to meet and exchange ideas with a view to building a united Europe that respects diversity. The use of non-formal education methods makes the events particularly stimulating and encourages the active participation of every young person.
The event organised by the European Youth Parliament counts among its partners the Municipality of Lucca, which is hosting the event at the Real Collegio, with accommodation provided by the Classicum Association, and the IMT Lucca School of Advanced Studies.
